In 2014 after working 7 years on finding studio quality stereo pedals that fits my music, I setup a dual pedal board rig. The goal was to have an effects board that I can play live with, then use the looper board in song writing mode before the effects board and for layering exploration I could use the looper board after the effects board. The downside was to live loop I only had the 30 second looper in the Timeline or bring 2 pedal boards. Below is the pictures and the Photoshop models.
In 2016 my modifications to the effects board was to speed up my gig setup, move most interacted pedals to the front and to add more live looping. With combining the 30 second looper in the Timeline & the 5 minute looper in the Ditto X2 I had access to many layers but they were un-synced. Which led to many looping fails, many caused just by 1 beer. Below is the picture and the Photoshop model.
In 2017 my modifications to the effects board was to add a synced dual looper, add recording pedals where I can record the left & right channels for up to 8 hours, added a MIDI interface to edit Strymon presets with the Nixie app, added Strymon power supplies so I can use power sources different than the US and push my tone farther with custom MODs & a professional setup of my multiband compressor. This is my first pedal board where I didn't feel like it was parts that I added velcro to but it became a system to move my music through. Below is the picture and the Photoshop model.
Exploration is messy and filled with mistakes, but the joy when it comes together keeps me going.
